Is This Your First Twitter Contest?

Welcome to OneKontest. We have managed thousands of contests for many top brands around the world for over two years. We have also seen many examples of contests that worked well, and some that did not. We believe that you should use Twitter Contests and Promotions as a continuous social media strategy and as integrated as possible. Here are some tips that we have found:

Run Contests on a Regular basis

We strongly encourage you to run promotions often. At least once per month (of course this depends on your type of business) and build on top of each promotion. After each promotion, we analyze who entered your contest. We identify the top X users. Start building a relationship with them.

Offer a TwtQpon

One of our other products is TwtQpon (Twitter Coupons.) You can offer a discount to the people who participated but did not win. TwtQpon, itself, is another Twitter promotion, whereby users must tweet in other to claim the coupon you're sending them.

Involve Your Top Users on your next Contest

You can use another of our products, Twtpoll to ask what they would like to see on your next Contest. That way, they feel more vested on your next Promotion. The idea is to build a better relationship with your top users after each Contest. And over time, you will see better results for your Contests.
